• यदि कोई सरकारी कर्मचारी अपनी सेवानिवृत्ति से पहले श्रेणी "ए" और "बी" से संबंधित है और किसी आपराधिक मामले या किसी सिविल मामले में जिसमे सरकार एक पक्ष है या सरकार की ओर से किसी विभागीय जांच में उन तथ्यों का साक्ष्य जो पद के कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन करते समय उसकी जानकारी में आए सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद साक्ष्य देने के लिए बुलाया गया  है ।अगर अपनी कार या टैक्सी से यात्रा करने वाले राजस्थान यात्रा भत्ता नियम, 1971  के परिशिष्ट II के नियम 8(1) के तहत विशेष दर तक सीमित यात्रा भत्ते के हकदार होंगे । इसमें नियंत्रण प्राधिकारी की पूर्व मंजूरी की आवश्यकता नहीं है,हालाँकि इन मामलों में अदालत या अन्य प्राधिकारी जिसने सेवानिवृत्त सरकारी-कर्मचारी को तलब किया गया है के द्वारा दिए गए उपस्थिति का प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना आवश्यक है।

• A government servant belonging to category "A” and "BM before his retirement if summoned to give evidence after retirement in a criminal case or a civil case to which government is a party or in a departmental enquiry on behalf of the Government to give evidence of the facts which come to his knowledge while discharging duties of the post. If travels by own car or taxi shall be entitled to Travelling Allowance limited to Special Rate prescribed for journey on tour under Rule 8(1) of Appendix II of Rajasthan Travelling Allowance Rules, 1971. The prior approval of the controlling authority is not required in these cases although it is required to attach a certificate of attendance given by the court or other authority which summoned the retired Government-Servant.
